Zynstace was founded to solve a problem we saw firsthand: powerful open-source modeling frameworks exist, but almost no one outside the labs that built them knows how to deploy them for real industrial problems. We do.

Where science meets industry, implementation meets reality

DOE and NAWI have invested hundreds of millions into developing world-class open-source frameworks for process modeling — PrOMMiS for critical minerals, WaterTAP for water treatment, IDAES for chemical processes. These tools are powerful, rigorous, and free.

But there's a problem: building a framework and deploying it on a real industrial process require completely different expertise. National labs can't provide commercial consulting. Academic researchers don't have industrial deployment experience. And traditional consultants don't know these frameworks exist.

Companies get stuck. They receive funding. They have access to the tools. But they don't have someone who knows how to build a PrOMMiS flowsheet for their specific feedstock, or deploy WaterTAP for their treatment train, or implement IDAES optimization for their novel reactor.
